The document your family needs is only useful if they know where it is and why it matters. OscarOK brings selected files together with your own instructions and a controlled release plan.

## Give each document context

Explain what a document is, when it was updated and what the recipient should do with it. Keep originals and official records where they belong; your vault can describe how to locate them.

## Choose recipients deliberately

Document uploads are available on Plus and Pro. Assign each vault item to the appropriate contacts. An accepted invitation alone does not give a contact access to unreleased documents.

## Private storage with defined access

OscarOK encrypts uploaded files and checks access on every download. OscarOK is a server-managed service, not a zero-knowledge password manager. Avoid adding information you are not authorised to share.

## Understand the access window

Each released item is available for 30 days. Contacts should save what they need during that window. Expiring access cannot remove a copy someone has already downloaded.

Free includes 2 trusted contacts. Accepting an invitation does not unlock your vault.

### Check-ins & control

Several chances to say “I’m OK”. Regular check-ins keep you involved. A missed check-in alone never immediately releases your information. Check in or pause while release is pending.

Monthly check-ins on Free. More flexible check-ins on paid plans.
