Full grace and warning periods, required warning email acceptance and two accepted-contact confirmations stand between a missed check-in and release.
Your words. Prepared for your people.1. Prepare your vault
Add the information you want to pass on and choose its recipients. Start with document locations, essential contacts and practical instructions. Paid plans support document uploads; Pro supports personal messages and delayed vault items.
2. Invite at least two trusted contacts
Your contacts accept their invitations by email. Monitoring cannot progress toward release until at least two different contacts have accepted. Talk to them first so they understand what you are asking them to do.
3. Check in on your chosen schedule
Complete your check-in when it is due. If you miss it, OscarOK sends reminders during a 30-day grace period. You can pause monitoring or check in to stop an active escalation.
4. Allow time for contact and confirmation
After the grace period, warning emails must be accepted by the email provider before the warning countdown starts. The full 14-day warning period must pass and two accepted contacts must confirm. A provider accepting an email does not prove someone read it.
5. Share only the designated information
Eligible contacts receive access to the items assigned to them. A delayed item becomes available on its own schedule. Each item and message has a 30-day access window from its release date.
